Jet walked down towards Sapphire Lake, eyes closed and arms crossed. His tail flicked crossly. He was itching for a fight. He hadn't been in a pokemon battle in ages. That made him weak.Made him sound vunerable. And he hated that.He figured he would have to challange the most powerful pokemon he knew,as far as the lake goes.Torva, the gyarados. But of course,he had to bring Silver too, even though he didn't want to.

Silver on the other hand, had no idea what Jet was planning, he had no reason to after all.
The white-haired trainer was wearing simple blue shorts, gray long sleeth shirt with the signia of his favorite Poke-Olympic team, and a pair of straw sandals. A pair of headphones were also around his neck, but he didn't plan on using them until he decided to take a break.
Yep... Jet was looking restless today, and Silver decided he needed to take action as a trainer for the grumpy buizel. He had to deepen their connection... Somehow... And develop more of a strategy with the water, otter-like pokemon.
Jet was strong, and was even powerful when Silver caught him... But that simply wasn't good enough. Jet needed to rely on his instruction. If not, he would be more of a burden to Silver's team than anything else. However, Silver didn't have a water type, and he knew he needed one. Jet, if used correctly, could be a powerful, speedy hard hitter... But unlike Suchi, he could take those hard hitting fire types that Suchi would have trouble even if they were at lower levels. That was the problem with being both a bug and steel type.
The problem was, Jet wasn't the kind to listen to instruction very well, ignoring even a good order just because it was Silver who wanted him to do it. When fighting the elite four... And maybe even the master... That wasn't just a problem, it was a setback...
So Silver decided to take Jet out and walk with him near the other end of the lake... The place here was more secluded, not to far away from the surrounding forests. If people were here, they were trainers looking for a fight, and Silver was actually eager to test himself against one again. It would be good for Jet and himself.
If noone else showed up soon, Silver would just work with the male buizel on basic training.

Jet turned towards the lake, flicking his tail.<"Hey Torva!Get your ugly face out here and fight me!">Jet cried out, using sonic boom on the lake's surface. He had to win this.He just had to win. He turned towards Silver, before looking away.Jet crossed his arms and waited, his eyes narrowed.

``S O U L the lucario ;; level one-hundred ``R A I N . mcfae
Not far from Silver and Jet were Rain and Soul, and like the two, they were training. However, the two were inside in the forest -- more specifically, in a small, seculded clearing. And unlike Silver and Jet, Rain and Soul were both training -- with each other. Blindfolded.
The human and Pokemon sparred using only aura to detect the other. Perhaps rather surprising was the fact that Rain was holding her own fairly well. For the most part, the two used only martial arts skills and the such, although Soul occasionally would throw out an actual attack which Rain would block with a shield of aura. Still, both were very careful to restrain their attacks and not actually injure the other.
Finally, the two stepped away from each other, relaxing as both bowed to each other before taking off their blindfolds. Rain smiled, brushing her bangs out of her blue eyes. Currently, the girl was wearing a loose, pale blue teeshirt and navy blue athletic shorts, her long black hair tied up in a ponytail. Blinking in the sunlight, the girl looked up, glancing up at the sun. "Huh. We've been at this for a while." A grin. "Although I gotta say, it was worth it. That was the best workout I've gotten in a while." A shadow of a smile appeared on Soul's features as the Lucario nodded.
When Jet's voice cut through the quiet air, both Rain and Soul blinked, looking in the direction of the lake. While sparring, the two had blocked out all other auras to only concentrate on each other's, but now they could feel both Silver and Jet, although Rain was the only one that recognized them. "I wonder what they're doing here," the girl murmured as she pushed through the undergrowth toward the lake, Soul following close behind.
When Silver and Jet came into their line of sight, Rain gave a small wave, walking toward the two with Soul trailing cautiously and hesitantly behind. "Hey Silver...what are you doing here?" the girl asked, tilting her head.

The white haired trainer opened his blue eyes in surprise when he heard someone question him, though he didn't register it a full second later. The trainer calmed down, and even smiled a little in return as he waved back at rain. Just a small one... Just a shadow... But there none the less.
"Hey Rain. How have you been?" Silver asked as walked over to the other trainer with one hand resting against his side, the other rubbing through his white hair. "I'm just training Jet right now. Nice to see your Lucario again."

Rain lifted an eyebrow as she glanced at the Buizel. With crossed arms and an equally cross look, the Water Pokemon didn't exactly look eager to train -- at least not with Silver. "Jet...he's the...not-so-obedient one, right?" The trainer looked thoughtful, sharp blue eyes fixed on the otter-like Pokemon. "Training, huh?" the girl said suddenly, a small smirk/smile appearing on her face. "He looks pretty strong, I have to admit...what do you say to a battle? It'll be good for both of us."

Silver raised an eyebrow at the request, and studied the buizel with a neutral expression on his face. After a long thoughtful pause, Silver answered with a rather unexpected statement, and his tone was laced with regret. "Nah... I couldn't do it. Normally, I would jump at the chance to battle with anyone, especially a retired champion... However, strong or not, I can't take that sort of embarrassment. It's not a matter of battle really. Jet isn't ready to work with me, and battling doesn't solve his opinion of me."
The trainer shrugged rather morosely. "You gotta learn to crawl before you walk you know?"

Rain nodded thoughtfully. "I can understand that," she replied, looking over at the Buizel. "A Pokemon that does not cooperate with its trainer is only a burden, and no matter how strong it is, the lack of a bond with its trainer makes it weak," the girl mused. Unexpectedly, Rain knelt down, looking at the Buizel at eye level. "You really should listen to Silver," the trainer said nonchalantly. "He's a good trainer who could make you a lot stronger. By ignoring him you're only hurting yourself."
The girl then stood up and turned back to Silver, head now tilted. "If you don't mind me asking...why did you catch Jet in the first place? Surely you must have seen he was trouble when you battled him."

Silver rubbed the back of his neck and averted his sharp blue eyes thoughtfully. "I never meant to catch him... I rarely ever just catch pokemon in the wild. I was with another trainer... We had gotten attacked by a gyarados of unimaginative power."
A pause. "Me and the trainer had no chance against it... I managed to hold it off with Umbra, Theo, and Suchi, my umbreon, alakazam, and scizor... We retreated into the forest after I pulled off a successful hypnosis with Umbra. I didn't know the exact level... But I knew it was a lot stronger... So much stronger my team with me stood no chance... And the trainer I was with was a beginner. Like I said before, we retreated into the forest... When it woke up, and decided to slither onto land after us, we would lose it there..."
Silver shut his eyes in annoyance and rubbed his temple. "We then got attacked by Jet here... My team was tired, and the buizel was stronger... So I decided to throw an ultra ball and one more hypnosis out of Umbra... Tire Jet out, while the ultra ball held him there until we got away... Only... I actually caught him instead..." Silver trailed off as he gazed the buizel, and then at Rain seriously.

Rain's brow furrowed as she listened to Silver, nodding slightly. Her sharp gaze, however, was fixed on the Buizel that the trainer was talking about. "You were attacked by him, huh?" the girl murmured when the boy finished. "Hm. That's kinda strange...I can understand the Gyarados, but Buizel aren't usually aggressive." Rain tilted her head, still looking at the Sea Weasel Pokemon. "Jet certainly is a strange one."
Finally, the girl turned her head to look at Silver. "But if he's so much trouble, why don't you just release him?" she asked. Falling silent for a moment, the girl spoke again about a second later. "Although I guess releasing him would just be letting a dangerous Pokemon go wild. Is that it?"

"Exactly... Gym leader code states that if a pokemon shows such aggressive behavior... One of 3 things need to happen. One is that the pokemon becomes part of a team, where a trainer could gain some sort of control over it... That way it could become a permanent part of said trainer's team. A pokemon can act rebellious, but they cannot willingly attack another person while under the influence of a pokeball. The second option is to release that pokemon into a secluded part of the wild... But Jet was near humans to start with."
Silver closed his eyes as he sighed. "The third option is to execute said pokemon if they are judged dangerous to humans."

Rain nodded solemnly, gazing at the Buizel in question with something akin to pity. In her opinion, no Pokemon, not even an arrogant, aggressive one like Jet, should be killed. But she didn't make the rules. And even Rain understood that sometimes, there was no choice. Still, she really didn't feel that this Buizel was a truly violent Pokemon. But his eagerness for fighting and his refusal to listen certainly directed him down that path, and if he wouldn't change his habits...well, Rain personally preferred to think about that.
ooc; trying to think of a way to bring Soul back in. xD
