How does the Move-Learning process work? Can we delete moves and replace them with new ones as we level up like in the game? And when we create a new character, do the moves have to apply to the pokemon's level? If you make a wild pokemon, does the "TM/HM moves learned by parents" breeding rule apply?
Also- what's the evolution deal with Shedinja? Not that I'm planning on making one anytime soon, but I'm just pouring out the questions right now.
Have fun, Rain! =D

...XP Great. Thanks Snowy. Now I have to actually think. x3
Shedinja: Probably should have added that to Alt. Evos. When Nincada evolves, you choose Shedinja or Ninjask.
Move-learning: Um...O.o Sure, you can 'delete' moves as you go along. And for wild Pokemon, the TM/HM/breeding rules do not apply; if it can learn it, go ahead.
Moves to Pokemon's level: Yes, it must be learnable at the level you make the Pokemon, UNLESS it can learn it through breeding or TM/HM. If it can learn it through those, the Pokemon can be any level when it knows to moves. Otherwise, the level does matter and you cannot have a Pokemon know a level 70 move at level 30. O.O
Duz that help? I should probably make a tread thread on this too...

XP
You can RP those out if you want. For example, in the anime, Blaze causes to Pokemon to glow with reddish fire, Overgrow makes the Pokemon grow green, etc. You can indicate that and have it become stronger if in weak condition.
Swift Swim...erm, not really sure exactly how to show that physically, but you'll know it's there. ^^;

Are there going to be pokemon contests? And what are the rules for breeders? Are there any rules for catching wild pokemon or for pokemon battles? Do pokemon ever die?... I'm guessing the lat one is a noooooo....

O.o
*falls over and dies from question overload*
Okay...
1. Contests will probably (eventually) be held in the arena. So I'll say that's a yes answer.
2. Not sure I really get this one...can you expand (without making it extremely awkward)?
3. Catching wild Pokemon; if you have one in mind that isn't played by another person, PM me with the level and moves (gender would help too) and I'll powerplay the wild Pokemon and you can catch it (or if you want it to get away or want your Pokemon to lose, that works too). If you want to catch another person's played Pokemon (or vice versa), you both have to talk it out and agree.
3b. Erm...normal things apply, I guess. No dodging every move, no powerplaying opponents, etc.
4. WRONG! They can. x3 But yeah, not really sure how to expand into that one, but yes, they can die (which ties in w/ the plot).

Well I guess if they couldn't die then I suppose that would greatly bring the functionality of Lavender Tower into question... What are those people burying there?... x3
And as for breeding, well, if people just breed pokemon what can they breed since they can just make the perfect breeding pokemon? How many eggs, and how often can they breed the pokemon. We could just end up with a bunch of over-powered Torchic on the site that no-one wants to adopt. 8|

...Wait a sec, I need to read that again.
Ah...I see...that's a good point. You wanna make a suggestion for what we do? 'Cuz I need to think on that a bit...

^ *points up* I believe I did answer that. But yes, you can, if you both have agreed to it. And unless they want to give up their Pokemon, they still RP their character.

How about Breeders need to be Pokemon Trainers as well, and they have to train their Pokemon at least [insert # of levels here] before they can breed them. And they can only breed their Pokemon with their own Pokemon once per pair. And they have to buy all TM and HM moves for their Pokemon.

I like that. That's why your meh buddeh Snowy. =3 Does level 30 sound good, or should it be higher? Of course, then people could just make Pokemon who are already the required level.
Also, this is kinda a mix between ethics and reducing pairs, but how 'bout each Pokemon can only breed with one other Pokemon (so no multiple partners) and no inbreeding? And I believe I had a clutch limit somewhere in the rules...let me check...
Current limit is three eggs per clutch; I think that sounds good. Anything else we need to address?

How about since there's no multiple partners, only breed if you have an admin's consent, or in other words, once you think there will actually be people that will adopt them.
