OOC/General Rules:[/u]
1. Do not spam except in the Spam Board. This includes:
- Posting random letters/numbers/symbols in posts.
- Purposely misspelling words, with the exception of chatspeak.
- Posting any message such as "If you don't post this on this # of sites you will die" or advertisements for random things.
2. Do not swear. Mild swearing in RP is okay; swearing at other people is not okay.
3. Do not overuse chatspeak and try to use good English skills.
4. Do not make sexist, racist, or other inappropriate comments/posts. Also, please do not make things too graphic: try to keep things to a PG-PG13 level.
5. Respect other members. Do not purposely provoke them and if someone asks you to stop doing something, stop.
6. Respect the admin, and try not to nag them too much about things like accepting bios.
7. Try not to double/multiple post unless you absolutely need to (ex. someone tells you not to edit your post, you are bumping a thread, etc.). Instead, edit your thread by using the "Modify" button.
8. Do not bump up a thread unless someone has not posted in it for a few days. Do not bump threads after an hour, a day, etc.
9. Do not change font colors. We have multiple skins, and a color that works on the skin you're using may not work on another.
IC Rules:
1. No godmoding. Godmoding is when your character is or is close to invincible/all powerful.
2. Do not powerplay. Powerplaying is when you control/do something to another person's character without permission.
3. No mature threads (such as graphic mating, etc.) are allowed. Try to keep things to a PG-PG13 level.
4. Remember to put OOC when talking out of character in an IC thread. You do not need to put IC when going back to in character, just make sure you leave some space between the OOC and the IC so it's obvious when you switch.
5. Do not overly use OOCs in IC threads. This can be annoying to some people, and if someone asks you to stop then stop.
6. When doing dialogue, make sure you use the correct symbols (see Info Desk).
7. Try to stick to what you wrote in your bio, especially with personality.
8. Pokemon gain one level per thread and two levels per battle.
Bio Rules:
1. Make sure you follow the form given. You may format it (ex. edit alignment, font size, etc.) but make sure you have everything you need on it.
2. Do not use smilies in your bio.
3. Make sure you have the minimum amount of sentences needed for each part of the bio (found in Sign-Up Forms).
4. Give your character some flaws. They should not be completely perfect and good; it's unrealistic and extremely boring to RP with.
6. An admin or mod must have accepted your bio before you begin RPing your character.
7. Do not make any restricted Pokemon unless you have been given permission. These can be found at the Info Desk.
8. There is no limit to the number of characters you can make. However, please make only as many as you can RP.
9. There is a level limit of level 50 for all Pokemon, unless you are given special permission by an admin.
10. Be sure to follow all rules for moves in the Moveset thread (Info Desk).
11. Unless you are given special permission by an admin, you may only make Pokemon in their first evolutionary stage.
12. If you have a Pokemon that is owned by a trainer, a separate bio is not required (but highly recommended) for you to RP it; however, if this is the case, you must include the nickname, species, gender, level, and attacks of the Pokemon in the trainer's bio under the Pokemon section.
13. New members can make one Pokemon over level 50 or in a higher evolutionary stage without admin permission.
Evolution[/u]
1. Pokemon that evolve when they level up can be evolved at any time if you are at the correct level.
2. You must have the correct evolutionary item (obtained through a random event, giveaway, or the Shop) to evolve a Pokemon that requires an evolutionary item.
3. Pokemon that evolve through trade follow the same guidelines as Pokemon that evolve through leveling up.
4. If a Pokemon needs to hold an item and be traded to evolve, you simply have to have that item.
5. Because some Pokemon evolve based on location or time, some things are changed. Please check the Info Desk for this information.
Breeding[/u]
1. Pokemon can have up to three eggs per clutch.
2. Humans may have up to two children.
3. Any eggs must be one of the two species of their parents.
