Description:
Apocalypse is a fairly normal Absol. She has white, slightly silvery fur that forms a long, flowing mane around her neck. Her fur is soft and silky and in places other than her mane, extremely short and sleek, causing it to lay very flat and shimmer in sun or moonlight. The bottom half of her face, her claws, her tail, the scythe on the side of her head, and the oval at the middle of her head are all a dark, almost black, indigo. Her eyes, however, are not the normal red. Instead, they are a pale, misty periwinkle color.
Apocalypse is, and always was, a petite little girl. She stands at only about 3’3” (99 cm), weighing in at only 96 lbs (43 kg). She’s also quite slender, and at first glance may almost look underweight. Because of this, she’s not very physically strong; however, she makes up for it in speed and stamina. Apocalypse is very fast, able to overtake just about any other Pokemon. Through training she’s also raised her endurance, making her an amazing runner. She’s also worked hard to raise her special attack power, and with all this combined she’s actually quite strong. She’s definitely no pushover in battle, and she’ll let you know it right away.
Like all Absol, Apocalypse is able to sense disasters. However, her ability is, in a way, incomplete; she can only sense the when a disaster will end, not when they will begin. This balances out with her brother’s ability to only sense the beginning of disasters. Although it may be because the two are twins and had the power ‘split’ between the two, it may also be because of their contrasting personalities; Apocalypse, the eternally young optimist, would rather see the silver lining and the light at the end of the tunnel than when the dark clouds start looming overhead.
Personality:
The best word to describe Apocalypse is hyper (despite her rather glum name). She has the energy of a two-year-old, and a personality to match. She’s never quite grown up, which has both its good points and its bad points. She has boundless energy, almost never seeming to tire. She’ll hop around you all day, begging for you to play with her like a young puppy who just wants to have fun. She’s almost always happy, and her joy is almost infectious. Most can’t help but smile when around Apocalypse, and she can melt the coldest of hearts. She wants to make friends with anyone and everyone, no matter who they are.
Despite being considered an omen of disaster, Apocalypse is forever optimistic. She doesn’t quite seem to realize the harsher parts of life, and sometimes shoves away cold, hard reality for her dreamy idealistic world. Apocalypse can definitely be considered naïve, and is often told by her brother that she needs to grow up and face the facts. She’s never quite understood the more pessimistic types; why sit and be bitter when you can go out and have some fun? She always tries to bring a little more happiness into others’ lives, but this can sometimes backfire with the more serious or angry type; she’ll end up annoying them instead, something she sometimes doesn’t realize.
Apocalypse doesn’t like to be restrained by the rules of life, and can be rather eccentric. She likes her freedom, and would just about die if she was confined. She doesn’t really care what others are doing; if she wants to do something differently, she’ll do it the way she wants to without a second thought. This also applies to how she thinks about others; she’d never think badly of someone just because everyone else does. Apocalypse will never judge a book by its cover, because she knows exactly how that feels. She’s a defender of the outcasts in a way, and will stick up for her friends no matter what. She’d never let herself get sucked into rumors and lies about others, which is partly because of her idealistic beliefs; how can anyone be that bad?
Although she is usually very happy, Apocalypse has a wild personality that can change at the slightest of things (so quickly that she almost seems to be schizophrenic). She can change from overjoyed to sad to furious in a matter of seconds. The reason for this is she’s actually very emotional. Apocalypse is extremely sensitive and quite impressionable. She wants to be accepted by others, and can feel a bit insecure about herself in society. She wants people to like her, and if you tell you otherwise she’ll very quickly go from the happy little puppy to the sad dog sulking in the corner.
Although Apocalypse generally dislikes conflict, she does enjoy a bit of battle once in a while. However, she thinks of it as a game, and rarely fights with all her power. If someone she cares about is in trouble though, she can and will go all out. She’d never let anyone she loves get hurt if she can help it, and it’s one thing that she will become very serious about. She’d do anything to protect her friends and family, even if it means going against her trusting and generally peaceful personality. If you do anything to threaten her loved ones, Apocalypse will be a force to be reckoned with.
An interesting part of Apocalypse’s life is her relationship with her brother, Ragnarok. Although they’re twins and were born at the same time, Apocalypse considers Ragnarok her big brother. Like any younger sibling, Apocalypse often gets on Ragnarok’s nerves. Her hyperactive, optimistic personality strongly contrasts with her brother’s harsher, more realistic look on life. She gets annoyed with Ragnarok as well, thinking that he really needs to loosen up and stop thinking so negatively. The two can often get into disagreements, something that’s not really unexpected for such opposite personalities.
However, Apocalypse loves her brother dearly, and she knows that despite his sometimes harsh, sarcastic words Ragnarok loves her back. She would do anything to protect her brother, and cares about him more than anything else in the world. The two are like ying and yang; very different, yet in balance with each other. Apocalypse depends on her brother both to take care of her and to make sure she can sometimes push aside her idealistic outlook to face the facts, and Ragnarok depends on his sister to give him some happiness in his life and to have someone he can count on. Both of them are dependant on the other, and in the rare occasion they are apart they feel like they’re missing half of themselves.
History:
Apocalypse was born on a spring day in the Emerald Forest. Her mother was an Absol named Snow, and her father was an Umbreon named Shade. She had only one sibling, a twin brother named Ragnarok.
Apocalypse’s life was one of tragedy, starting from the very moment she was born. Her mother died giving birth, leaving the two with only their father. However, Shade was not sympathetic. He blamed the two children for the death of his beloved, the shattering of his own life. Because of this, he named them Apocalypse and Ragnarok, two names that meant in essence the same thing: The end of the world. The end of Shade’s world. The Umbreon left the two, unable to bear the emotional pain of taking care of the two who had taken Snow’s life. The twin Absols were orphans, left to survive on their own or die.
Not even Apocalypse and Ragnarok are sure how they survived, but they did. They did anything they could, and when they had to they even stole food from both Pokemon and humans. The two depended on each other from the start. Sometimes Apocalypse would go up to a Pokemon or human and put on a cute show while Ragnarok snuck in from behind and took their food. One time, a Houndoom attacked and the two had to fight for the first time in their lives. Somehow they managed to win, although Ragnarok gained a scar over his eye that has been there ever since. Eventually the two became stronger, and as time went on life became easier for them. Neither of them were sickened during the time of the epidemic, although they later found out that Shade died from it. To this day the two live alone, wandering through Cameron. Although they do meet others and Apocalypse tries to make friends with everyone, they very rarely hold on to their relationships. The only thing they need is each other, and both of them are content with the way their life is. The only true friends the two have are Rain and her Pokemon, whom they frequently visit (although mostly from Apocalypse's insistence).
Other:
Nicknamed Cal by Rain, who thought Apocalypse was a cruel and unfitting name for the Absol.
RP Example:
<”WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!”> A silver and black blur shot down the large, snow-covered hill, screaming with delight. As the Pokemon skidded to a stop at the base of the hill, one could see through the layer of snow that it was an Absol, periwinkle eyes shining with delight. As the Absol stood up, shaking the snow out of her pelt, another Absol, a scar over his right eye, walked slowly down the hill, sighing and shaking his head.
<”Really Apocalypse,”> the scarred Absol said, coming to a stop by the snow-covered Absol, <”Do you really have to be so immature?”> Apocalypse shook the rest of the powder out of her fur and giggled, a silly smile one her face.
<”Come on, Rag-Rag,”> Apocalypse pouted. <”Have a lil’ sense of fun!”> With another giggle the female Absol scooped up a bunch of snow and threw it in her brother’s face. While Ragnarok coughed and shook his head, trying to get the snow both out of his mouth and fur, Apocalypse bounded away, laughing.
Suddenly, the smaller Absol stumbled, falling down in the snow with a yelp. Ragnarok rushed over instantly, worry apparent in his dark indigo eyes. <”Are you okay? What happened? Did you hurt yourself?”>
Unexpectedly, the female Absol leapt up with a bright smile. <”Yep! All good! Just tripped over a branch!”> While Ragnarok just stared with a look that made you think he’d have a huge sweatdrop at the side of his head, Apocalypse jumped around her brother excitedly.
<”Oh! Oh! I know! Let’s go visit Rain! Come on come on come on!”> Without waiting for an answer, Apocalypse ran off, leaving a sighing and exasperated Ragnarok to follow. However, the larger Absol couldn’t help but let a smile creep on to his face, and as he caught up to his sister the siblings disappeared into the swirling snow.

Description:
Ragnarok is, for the most part, an average Absol in appearance. His body is covered in snow-white fur that forms a large mane around his neck. His fur is slightly longer and coarser than that of his sister, although still fairly soft, and has a messier look rather than a sleek, smoothened one. His claws, tail, lower face, the oval at the center of his head, and the scythe coming out of the side of his head are all pitch black. He has longer claws as well as a longer scythe and tail than most Absol, something that gives him a slight edge in battles. However, what puts Ragnarok apart from other Absol the most is his eyes. Rather than being blood red, they are a very dark, grave indigo, and when viewed from a distance they almost look black.
Ragnarok is very big for an Absol. He’s about 4”5’ (135 cm) and weighs almost 120 lbs (54 kg). He’s well-muscled and built for physical fights. This makes him very strong, and he’s literally no pushover in battle. Although he’s not quite as fast as his sister, he does have stamina, and can run long distances with ease. His special attack is high as well, although his strength is more natural and he hasn’t had to train as hard to raise it to the level it’s at. He’s a very good fighter, and relies on sheer strength over stealth and agility in battle.
Just like all Absol, Ragnarok has the ability to sense disasters. However, he only has half of the ability; he can only sense when a catastrophe will begin, not when it will end. This is completed by his sister, who can only sense when a disaster will end. Although it may be due to the fact that the two are twins and together form a whole, their contrasting personalities may also play in: Unlike Apocalypse, Ragnarok has a more pessimistic look on life. He’s the one who states the blunt truths of life even if they aren’t the things you want to hear.
Personality:
One of the best words to describe Ragnarok would be stoic. Much of the time he can be rather emotionless, rarely showing how he feels inside. Due to this, many who meet him describe him as cold and uncaring. Although this is not necessarily true, Ragnarok definitely doesn’t get all emotional over simple matters. He prefers to keep his feelings to himself, as he believes they are simply a hassle, something that gets in the way of moving ahead. This also makes him extremely serious, as being anything else would be showing how he feels. Most of the time he’s silent as well, and isn’t very social. Very rarely will he show the softer side of himself, and when he does it’s usually only to his sister.
Another one of Ragnarok’s traits is pessimism, something that annoys his sister to no end. He is a realist to the extreme, stating the bitterest facts of life as if he was discussing the weather. He hates to butter things up and usually makes his statements blunt and to the point, something that often is offending to others. He doesn’t mean to make others made though; it’s just his calm, blunt, and realistic personality is often extremely infuriating, especially to anyone like Apocalypse.
Although Ragnarok isn’t obsessed with battle, he certainly doesn’t mind a fight once in a while. He likes to build up his strength and stamina through battle, and he often spars to train. Still, he rarely purposely provokes a real battle (although his personality sometimes make it inevitable), and even when he’s being provoked he usually will just ignore it and refrain from striking back. He believes that fighting for no purpose is pointless and believes that real battles should only be fought when necessary.
Ragnarok also has an extremely strict sense of justice. He believes everything should be fair, and that revenge is a good thing if it is fit. This can make him dangerous in the sense that if you do something bad to him or someone he cares about, he will hold a grudge and will continue to hold a grudge until he has gotten revenge. He also hates an injustice being done to someone else, and despises anyone who bullies another weaker than themselves. He’ll always stick up for what’s right, and he’s fair to an extreme degree.
Still, Ragnarok does have his kinder, gentler side. He’s extremely loyal, and would stick by someone he cares for to the end. Despite his sometimes harsh actions, Ragnarok really loves his sister, and would do anything to protect her. She’s one of the only few who sees Ragnarok’s more caring, softer side, and around her, Ragnarok will usually actually show some emotion. Even though he prefers to not let anyone know, he really does have a heart and he’s an extremely kind, protective Absol underneath his rough attitude.
An interesting part of Ragnarok’s life is his relationship with his sister Apocalypse. Although they’re twins and were born at the same time, Ragnarok considers Apocalypse his younger sister.
However, Ragnarok loves his sister dearly, and despite his rough attitude and his annoyance at her optimism, he really does care. He would do anything to protect his sister, and cares about her more than anything else in the world.

Yeah, the RP examples suck, but one I’m too lazy to do anything else, two my muse is dead, and three I don’t have time to rewrite it.[/center]
