Hello there. My name is Ace.
I am a Pidgey, also known as the Tiny Bird Pokemon.
I am a male.
I am about one year and six months old.
I am currently at level 10.
I am a wild Pokemon through and through.
I live in the place known as the Emerald Forest,
Here's a picture of me.
My ability is Keen Eye, which prevents loss of accuracy.
I know the attacks Tackle (normal), Sand Attack (ground), Gust (flying), Brave Bird (flying), and Steel Wing (steel)
I'm a pretty normal lookin' guy...
Ace is fairly average for a Pidgey, although he does bear a couple of small differences. For one, Ace's brown feathers, still abundant with the fluffy, soft down of young chicks, are darker than that of most Pidgey, appearing a slightly darker brown due to his Staraptor father. His eyes are also amber rather than the normal black, another trait from his father. However, the rest of him is fairly normal. He has a pale, cream colored chest as well as wing tips of the same color. Above his eyes are two crests that are also cream, and between them is another crest colored brown. His eyes are accented by two thick black markings that swoop back and curve down. His small beak and three-toed talons are both a darkish gray-pink.
Size-wise, Ace is also fairly normal. He stands at one foot tall and weighs approximately four pounds. His wingspan is slightly larger than that of an average Pidgey, giving him a small edge in flight and battle. Overall, Ace has fairly normal strength and defense, although he does have a slightly higher special attack than usual. His speed is a small bit higher than most, primarily due to his slightly longer wings.
They say I have a rather hardy nature...
Ace is a Pidgey with a simple goal: to be the best. Extremely motivated, Ace tries his hardest to become as strong as he can so he can become just as good or even better than his parents were. For this reason, Ace trains almost all the time, whether it be against other Pokemon or by himself or against some inanimate object. He's a Pidgey on a mission, and nothing's going to stop him from becoming the strongest Pidgeot ever.
As could be expected, Ace is also extremely determined. He never, ever gives up without a fight, even against impossible odds -- sometimes, this rough, determined nature can get him in a bit of trouble, as sometime Ace doesn't know when to back down. He's also extremely persistent, sticking with his goals, whether they be long or short term. Very rarely will Ace give up on something, and never will he quit without good reason.
Despite his very young age, Ace is a Pidgey that knows how to take care of himself. Strong in both physical strength and will, Ace is a rugged, hardy boy who could probably live on his own already. In fact, Ace already spends quite a bit of his time on his own, and is quite independent. He hates to be doted on, considering that the steps to becoming spoiled rotten -- and how can you be strong when you're spoiled and depend on your parents for the rest of your life? No, Ace is a Pidgey that likes to take care of himself and can take care of himself.
A rather serious Pidgey, Ace has a personality that exceeds his age. He's not one to crack jokes, although he does enjoy a laugh once in a while. He's not one to just sit around and do nothing, either, as he considers it a complete and utter waste of time. For his age, Ace is surprisingly solemn. In fact, he's often been mistaken to be older just because of his personality.
Going along with his serious personality, Ace is also quite thoughtful for a young Pidgey. Ace almost never acts without thinking, although in battle he does know that sometimes, acting on impulse is the best thing. Most of the time, however, Ace is extremely analytical, a fact that annoys others at times. He dislikes anything that isn't proven or is assumed, and never assumes anything. Ace is also a bit of a philosopher, and when he isn't training he's usually on his own, thinking about life and the world.
Still, he's not the kind of guy that's completely serious 24/7 either. Despite his serious nature, he's easy-going and friendly at the same time. He does like to have a little fun and does have friends. Around them, Ace tends to loosen up a bit, sometimes even taking time off his solitary schedule to hang out. After all, Ace is still a young child, and even he needs friends and fun.
His youth also means that he has a bit of a temper, although not so much that he's whiny and throws tantrums all the time. Ace is just rather easily annoyed, although he tends not to show it. When he's angry, however, Ace is a force to be reckoned with. One thing that makes him particularly mad is those who pick on the smaller and weaker. Being young and low-level himself, he's had experience with bullies himself, something that's helped him become stronger. Ace believes in the Protector ideals of justice and fairness and in guarding those weaker than yourself.
Trust me, I haven't had a very exciting past. At least, not yet...
Ace was born in the middle of fall in the Emerald Forest in the same nest where he live now. His mother was a Pidgeot named Destiny, his father a Staraptor named Striker. Both were powerful members of a group of Pokemon called the Protectors, who patrolled the forest and protected the Pokemon who live in it. The two met in spring when the first time they had an assignment together, and soon fell in love. Destiny laid two eggs; one hatched to be Ace, the other to be his sister, a Pidgey named Ariel.
Since then, Ace has had a generally uneventful life. His father still patrols with the Protectors, which means Ace doesn't get to see him all the time, but for the time being his mother has stayed with Ace and Ariel, taking care of them while they grow up. Ace admires his parents greatly, and aspires to be just like them. He wishes to join the Protectors, but knows that to do so, he has to become stronger. It's for that reason he spends so much time training: because he wants to be the best Protector that the Emerald Forest has ever seen.
By the way, you should also know that...
Steel Wing was an egg move inherited from Destiny (who's mother was a Skarmory), and Brave Bird came from Striker.
I'd like someone else to play Ace's sister, Ariel, if possible. I had imagined her to be extremely unlike Ace, and I thought that she could either be a very ditzy, fun-loving little or rather stuck-up and full of herself. If you'd like to play her, please tell me, because I would rather have someone else play her than play her myself because it would be more interesting.
You want to see a little bit of my life? Well...
Slash.
A silver blur shot by the old, dead tree, leaving a deep gouge in its thick trunk. As the figure slowed down, the glow faded to reveal a young, tired-looking Pidgey. Ace looked at the tree with amber eyes, staring at the cuts he had already made. The Tiny Bird Pokemon had been at this all day, trying to hack down the tree in order to practice his Steel Wing. It wasn't a move many Pidgey knew, and Ace was finding it a bit hard to control. His wings were quite sore, bruised from the times that his wings had been unable to maintain their steeled state, causing him to bang against the tree at high speed.
The brown bird couldn't help but let out a small sigh. It was almost noon, and Ace was getting pretty tired, but he had promised some Rattata that he'd cut down the dead tree for them to use as a home. Besides, it was good practice. Still, the tree was only cut halfway through, and Ace supposed it'd take the rest of the day to get the rest. Not for the first time, Ace wished that his mother was there. After all, not only could she help with cutting, but she had mastered Steel Wing long ago, and there was no doubt she would be able to help Ace control it. But no, Destiny was home with Ariel, who had refused to leave the nest today and begged for the Pidgeot to stay home. The Pidgey couldn't help but feel a stab of annoyance. Didn't Ariel understand that Destiny was his mother, too? And he certainly needed her help more than she did.
The Pidgey shook his head and fluffed his feathers. Well, no use thinking about that now. Facing the tree with determined amber eyes, Ace prepared for another Steel Wing.
