I got bored today and while browsing Deviant Art and noming on Pocky, a sudden urge overtook me. It said- "SNOWY!... Draw a chubby Charmander". =3 So that's what I did: ![](http://i491.photobucket.com/albums/rr277/sigsi/BigCharmander.jpg) Introducing Portly Priscillia! I decided to officially add her to my roster because, honestly, when was the last time you saw an overweight character on an RP site? But because once I start drawing I must continue, I decided to doodle yet another one of my pokemanz. Say hello to Nanali! ![](http://i491.photobucket.com/albums/rr277/sigsi/Nanali.jpg) As you can see my scan is very dirty and hates me, but I have GIMP so take that scan/printer! Take THAT! Yeah, I'll probably color these later...

I have a realistic picture of Charon, and one of him and Maria dancing, in hopes that I could scan it, but the ink cartridge is out, so I'll guess I have to show you later Snowy.
Good Nanali by the way. ;D
If you don't mind constructive criticism, He rlegs could be longer, but nothing worng ither than that.
I like the nblowing leaf effects you did on her. And the intense espression in her eyes.

The right leg should be longer, but after erasing it hundreds of times and fiddling with the posture I finally said screw it and left it as it. Why I insist on such active poses I have no idea...

It helps to make building blocks... Circles, squares, cylinder to act as building blocks for the limbs. Knowledge of muscle, bone, etc also help in determining pose and appearance.

I was never good with making guidelines. I honestly just made up her pose on the fly, started with the head and went from there. That was, ah... Challenging... As for bones and such, I used plenty of reference pics and I know basic bone structure of humanoids and... cats... Probably cats more than humans actually...

And yet I still never get around to drawing them... Because I give up at the feet...

Lol same...I can draw every part of the cat EXCEPT the feet...
I like the drawings by the way. =3 I do agree that Nanali's a bit out of proportion, but otherwise, they're great.

I feel out of the loop - I'm a terrile, terrible drawer. All I can really draw is a polar bear blinking in a blizzard, that's it. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) (Two lines on a paper to represent closed eyes. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) ) However, if I get a picture, I can do wonders with editing. I once turned an eye glare from one picture into a giant magic explosion in another...now that was a good skin. *Sighs from WoS nostalga, and gets further off topic*

The original, before it was butchered by the scanner, and then the site I uploaded this picture I made, was colorful and beautiful... But alas, I have to just show you this one. It's Suchi and Silver, drawn in realistic form. ![](http://www.resizepictures.com/image_data/06212010/800_00509992.jpg)

Wow, Silver looks older than I imagined him being. And his hair is shorter. But gawd I love those highlights on Suchi *g* .

I'm glad you like it! ;D Yeah... I realize what you mean about silver's apparent age. But I thought about it, how he was 17 years old by now, and tried to make that match his appearance. Technically, it's a matter of body build. But your right, he does look older with trimmed hair and broader shoulders. The way I saw it, was that he was simply starting to grow up more.

Its also a matter of jaw and brow lines. He seriously looks like he's in his thirties or something x3 . 17 is still young, basically the very start of manhood, so he should still have some softer, boyish features. And I don't know what happened with his feet but...
