It was a nice day in Cameron...hot...but it was nice. If you liked heat It was about noon, the hottest part of the day. At least there were clouds in the sky. The trees around the Town Square provided some shade. And it was beneath those trees that a red-haired, green-eyes boy sat, staring at his Pokemon gathered around the square as he ate his lunch -- a deli sandwich.
Six dragon Pokemon...anyone passing through probably would have either been impressed, shocked, frightened, or a combination of them. In the fountain, a Dragonair and a Kingdra drifted, watching the rest of the Pokemon while they enjoyed the cold of the water. A Vibrava buzzed playfully around the trainer's head, occasionally taking some Pokemon food from his hand as she chirped happily. Off to the side, leaning against a tree, a Bagon rested in the comforting shade. And at the center of the square was a Charizard and a Gabite. Dueling...or, at least, the Charizard was dueling. The Gabite looked more like he was just having fun.
<"Haha! Missed again Py-Py!"> The Gabite danced around the Charizard, laughing as he evaded the Fire Pokemon's attacks. Extremely irritated (this treatment had been going on for a while now), Pyrus let out an angry roar and launched an Ember -- which, of course, Cobalt avoided. Again.
ooc; Doesn't sound finished, but I gotta go. You can reply if you want.

Priscillia~ Level 8
It was hot in the city today, and seeing as it was summer, it came as no surprise. To a fire-type pokemon like Priscillia the weather was beautiful. Naturally the little Charmander loved any sort of heat, almost as much as she loved cookies. So with contentment. the plump little lizard ambled along the sidewalk, enjoying the sun and life in general.
Suddenly the Charmander halted. The sight before her was truly something. Dragon pokemon out the wazoo and back. In the fountain, under the trees, in the air, they were all over the place. Priscillia gulped as she watched an enraged Charizard battle a Gabite. The orange dragon was mad, she could tell by his blazing tail flame. Tip-toeing around the fight she let out a breath that she didn't realize she was holding and looked up, only for her eyes to start sparkling.
Sitting beneath a nearby tree was a human boy. A human boy eating a sandwich. A sandwich being eaten by a human. Priscillia licked her lips and cutely ambled over to the red-head, fluttering her eyes, smiling shyly, the works. The formerly human-owned pokemon always had room for food.

Theo the Alakazam~ level 84 Suchi the Scizor~ level 77 Umbra~ Level 100
Silver was walking through the market square, his 3, first pokemon tailing behind him, which consisted of Umbra, Theo, and Suchi. He left Trouble, Kriss, and Jet at home at the moment, deciding to work on them later in the day... Right now he was out shopping... Looking out for supplies. And to also enjoy the day as well.
Momoru Koru, or as Silver as his trainer persona, was a rather strange guy. He looked to be about 17ish, with broad shoulders and lean muscled arms and legs. He still carried some boyish features, but his journey to manhood was starting to become apparent. The young man had sharp, deep blue eyes and a small, thoughtful frown that looked almost as if it was naturally carved there. His face was a little gaunt, but it wasn't bad... It only really made his features seem sharp.
He wore a white Tshirt and blue shorts today... After all, it was the afternoon, and it was hot. he carried his black pokegear(tm) bag with him, slung over his shoulder in a casual manner. Soft rock droned softly from a pair of earphones Silver had on currently, where the cord extended into a small slot in his bag. Silver also wore a simple pair of sandals for his feet... After all, it was summer.
The most shocking, and somewhat otherworldly aspect of him was his hair... Cut a little shorter for the weather, Silver had white, almost silver hair... A genetic trait from his father's family line... His grandfather had it, although his father Morty, just had a really light blonde.
Theo, the alakazam, an important sweeper of Silver's party, was walking slightly beside his trainer in a dignified fashion, fox-like face somewhat stern, and sharp eyes occasionally glancing at certain people and making disgusted faces... Some of the things humans thought on a daily basis... Disgusting... The male alakazam rolled his eyes as he attempted to suppress some of his psychic abilities... Too much noise with the talking as well as the thinking. He studied his spoons as he walked on, trying to find something to focus on as they traveled on, eyes occasionally flaming with a blue color as he bent, and twisted the spoon's proportions.
Umbra padded beside his trainer with a confident grin on his handsome, fox/cat? face. His red eyes, flecked with silver glanced around all the people and shop keepers with obvious mirth and wonder. "<Never get tired of the city... You smell all that food Suchi? This is where it's at.>"
The female scizor in question, who was trailing behind Silver, looked distracted. Her claws were tucked close to her red breast plate, and her head was cast down slightly, yellow eyes clouded with deep thought.
Umbra frowned. "<Hello? Suchi! You there!?>"
Suchi gave a start, yellow eyes widening as she gazed at Umbra, then calmed down when she realized it was the umbreon talking to her.
"<Oh...>" She started in a soft, raspy voice. "<I'm sorry Umbra, were you saying something?>"
The male umbreon gave an annoyed sigh, though he gazed at Suchi with obvious worry. "<I was just talking about the food... Anyway, what is up with you recently Suchi? This has been going on for a while the past week.>" The male eveelution barked pointedly.
Without taking his eyes off the spoon or changing his concentrated expression, Theo got into the conversation by stating, "Indeed... You have been off the last few days Suchi, even with your training, which you normally excel in. I can feel your thoughts of confusion, worry, joy, anger, and sadness from over here. A massive cocktail of emotional pressure.>"
The female scizor gritted her pincers together. "<Then DON'T read my thoughts Theo! It's not that hard to mind another's PERSONAL business!>" She hissed in exasperation and anger, yellow eyes flashing.
Umbra and Theo both widened their eyes and glanced at each other before staring at Suchi in surprise... She rarely ever rose her tone... She seemed so edgy recently.
The female scizor seemed to realize she spoke sharply to her wise friend, and looked away in shame, yellow eyes clouded with nervousness. "<I'm sorry Theo...>"
There was a pause and the alakazam waved away the apology, as if it weren't needed. "<There is no need to apologize... You haven't been yourself recently...>" The alakazam then gazed deeply into Suchi's yellow eyes. "<I was just pointing out a matter of concern... I was suppressing my powers, and focusing on my spoons... But I could still feel your emotional output... Which is very strong... It's unlike you... Are you okay?>" Theo asked in concern, stroking his "beard with one hand thoughtfully, as if trying to figure out and diagnose his friend's problem... But out of all of them, Suchi was the one who kept her thoughts calm and shielded, making her hard to read...
Umbra nodded his head in agreement, face surprisingly serious. "<We are a team Suchi. We give support to each other.>" He informed with slight conviction, giving his best, happy go lucky grin.
Suchi smiled softly at both of them, but shook her head. "<I know... And I'm glad... It's just something I have to go through alone.>
"<You finally have a boyfriend?>" Umbra asked rather bluntly and in disbelief, in which Theo sighed in exasperation, and Suchi blushed furiously at, narrowing her yellow eyes.
"<No. It is not that. As I said before, it's my business.>" She rasped with slight indignation, before gaining her composure and staring down at the male umbreon with narrowed and sharp yellow eyes. Umbra merely barked in laughter, shaking his head.
"<THATS the Suchi I know!>" He called out as he chuckled, padding a little farther ahead. Theo merely shrugged and walked forward, leaving the female scizor to her private thoughts, but not before turning to her and stating, "<Like we said, we are there to lend an ear if you need it.>"
Suchi nodded quietly and said, "<I know.>"
Theo looked thoughtful for a moment, then nodded, and walked a little ahead with his clawed feet.
The female scizor looked lost in thought for a moment, before allowing a small, almost unnoticeable smile to cross her lips as they walked towards the direction of the fountain. She then regained her warrior self, her calm, confident, and yet quiet composure.
Silver stopped for a moment, taking off his headphones and stuffing them into his bag as he tilted his head near the fountain in the distance. Some people in the cobblestone street were staring at something, and curious, Silver walked over there casually. "This way guys." He commanded, his trio perking up their heads at his voice, following the silver haired trainer closely.
OOC: My God... Huge post... But I think I covered my characters really well.

Surprised, Drake looked down to see a Charmander. A rather pudgy Charmander. Begging. Likely for food. Well, that was something new. Was this Charmander wild? It seemed awfully tame for a wild Pokemon, but perhaps it was just used to city life. But there weren't many wild Charmander around. Was this maybe a trainer's Pokemon. "Hello little Charmander," the dragon-trainer finally said. "What are you doing here?" Well, obviously he knew what it was doing. It was quite clear she was begging for food. But honestly, this fire-Pokemon was pudgy enough as it was...it was probably not best to feed it.
Suddenly, a roar and a yelp echoed in the clearing and Drake looked up sharply. Pyrus had finally caught up with the Gabite and had managed to land a small Ember on him. Cobalt pouted, massaging his slightly burnt arm as he stuck out his tongue. It didn't really hurt, of course, but it was fun to put on a show. <"Geez Py-Py, you're so mean.">
With a sigh, Drake shook his head. He really shouldn't leave those two alone...Cobalt just had a way of working up Pyrus more than usually. "Cut it out, you two," the trainer said sternly. "Cobalt, leave Pyrus alone. And come here. It's time for lunch." The Gabite let out a happy sound as he danced over, while Pyrus took his time, shuffling over while muttering not-so-pleasant words under his breath. From the fountain, Destiny slithered out, waving her tail in a small good-bye to Nereus; Drake would bring him his lunch in a short while.
Cobalt, of course, managed to notice that Draco was still sleeping under the tree...and immediately recognized another victim. Skipping over to the Bagon, the Gabite whistled cheerfully before relentlessly poking Draco. In short while, the Bagon was awake -- and giving Cobalt a vicious look that suggested that he really wanted to kill the Gabite. <"What do you want Cobalt?"> Draco growled grumpily, glaring. Cobalt, of course, just laughed. <"Well someone got up on the wrong side of the tree today!">
The Bagon facepalmed. <"Just tell me what you just HAD to wake me up for, idiot."> The Gabite just grinned. <"Well, Drake said it's lunch time. Maybe you would've heard if you weren't busy snoozing."> Cobalt tilted his head in mock curiosity. <"Why would you take a nap in the middle of the day? Weirdo.">
<"Maybe because I'm tired,"> Draco growled. <"Tired of YOU!"> With a huff, the Bagon got up from the tree and made his way to his trainer, Cobalt laughing as he followed.
When the two got over, they finally noticed Priscillia -- well, Cobalt did. <"Hey look, a little Charmander!"> The Gabite exclaimed, leaning down to look at the fire-type. <"What'cha doin' here little gal?"> With a smirk, the dragon-type rose to look at Pyrus. <"Hey look Py, it's mini-you! You know, you as a cute widdle baby Charmander Py-Py,"> The last words were cooed -- obviously pissing the Charizard off. And in a moment, Cobalt found a fist connecting to his head. <"Ow! That hurt Py-Py!"> Reverie, buzzing above, just giggled. <"Hey, he's right Pyrus! It is a mini-you!">
Destiny sighed, shaking her head. <"Come on you guys,"> the Dragonair said, always the pacifist of the group. <"Get along.">

Before she knew it, Priscillia was surrounded by dragon-type pokemon of all sizes. Even in the air she could hear the cheerful chirrup of a Vibrava. The little Charmander spun around to try and keep track of who was standing around her. Suddenly a Gabite, whom she had seen battling earlier, was leaning down to her level, asking what she was doing. Before she could answer, however, he soon straighten to call out something to the Charizard. He must've called out something bad because in a moment's notice he was soon clutching his head after the Charizard, whom was named Py-Py, although she doubted that was his real name, punched him with a fist. Despite herself, Priscillia couldn't help but cover her mouth and giggle.
<"Hey, he's right Pyrus! It is a mini-you!">
The female looked up when the Vibrava above chirruped something. Priscillia sniffed in mock indignation and put her claws haughtily on her hips. <"And who says I'm mini?"> She said, swinging her tail for emphasis. Of course she was kidding around. She knew she wouldn't actually be able to smack-talk with these guys and walk away from it, but that didn't mean that she couldn't have some fun. It was a bit exhilarating, being around so many powerful dragon-types. And especially being around a Charizard.

Cobalt laughed, grinning at the Charmander. <"You've got spunk little lady!"> the Gabite said with a wink. <"But hey, compared to Py-Py over there, you're kinda mini -- no offense. But don't worry squirt --"> The dragon-type patted the Charmander's head. <"You'll grow. Probably be bigger than Py over there. I always thought he was kinda a midget."> Another punch. <"Ow! Arceus, Py, save the punches for a real battle!">
Drake, who had turned around to get food out of his bag, now turned to the group to put down five bowls of Pokemon food, all topped with two Pokeblocks -- different colors for each. "All right guys. I need to go give Nereus his lunch, so behave." The trainer gave Cobalt a sharp look at the comment (Cobalt, of course, just smiled innocently) before taking another bowl and (ignoring the people who were currently staring at him and his Pokemon) walked over to the fountain to give the Kingdra in the water the food.
<"All right, lunch time!"> Cobalt crowed happily before grabbing his bowl and picking up a handful of food. The others began eating as well, although a few seconds later Destiny looked up. <"Would you like some, little one?"> the Dragonair asked Prisicillia..

Priscilla giggled again when the Gabite was punched. It amused her greatly. When the other pokemon got their food, the female couldn't help but feel a bit jealous, but not because she was particularly hungry. It brought back memories of when she had been with him, when they had eaten together. Meal times had always been happy occasions, even if it was just modest sandwiches. The female snapped out of her thoughts when the Dragonair offered her some food. The girl grinned in what she hoped was a sheepish manner before replying, <"Ma'am, you're one kind-hearted soul,"> Before helping herself a bit of food. She'd never really been crazy about pokemon food, call her spoiled, 'cause she was. Still, it had a nice texture, and it filled the belly, so overall she enjoyed it. What food didn't she enjoy?
Looking up at the other pokemon, the female Charmander grinned and said proudly, <"So allow me to introduce myself. 'Names Priscillia."> The Charmander sat down on the grass and automatically went to grab her tail so she could hold it in her hands. It was just something she did when she sat down, like a habit. her former owner had always told her to mind her tail, so usually she did. The one time she didn't, well, that was the last time she had to worry about her tail. Still, she felt comfy with her tail between her claws, so there it was, whether or not there were flammables in the vicinity.

The Dragonair nodded as the Charmander took some food, then introduced herself. <"It's a pleasure to meet you Priscillia. My name is Destiny."> The Gabite, meanwhile, just grinned more widely. <"Priscillia! Awesome name. I'm Cobalt. That over there,"> the dragon-type pointed to Pyrus, a devilish grin on his face, <"Is Py. But he loooooves the name Py-Py."> With an exasperated growl, the Charizard smacked the Gabite once more -- this time with his tail. <"OW! Py, that's thing's HOT!">
<"Maybe because it's on FIRE, smart one,"> the Charizard snapped before turning to Priscillia. <"Don't listen to that idiot,"> Pyrus growled, although not as angrily as before. <"My name is Pyrus. The Bagon-"> He pointed to the Pokemon in question, who just looked away and ate with a humph. <"-Is Draco, and the Vibrava buzzing over your head is Reverie."> Reverie giggled as she waved and chirped a small, <"Hello!">
<"And over there,"> Destiny finished, <"Is Nereus, the Kingdra, and Drake, our trainer."> The Dragonair tilted her head. <"Speaking of trainers...do you have one Priscillia? Or are you wild? Although I've heard that wild Charmander are quite rare.">

Priscillia nodded and smiled up at Destiny. <"They are rare. Which is why I was bred by a human breeder. I had an owner once. A little human boy. Didn't last though."> The Charmander chuckled and shrugged, grinning. <"I mean, jeez, I accidentally set one curtain on fire and they act like the whole house went up in flames. And the curtains were ugly too."> The female looked down and started fiddling with her tail tip, turning it in her claws and studying it.
<"So, your trainer has a thing for dragons, eh?"> She said, very suddenly changing the subject. "He seems cool. Are you guys doing that thing? You know, where you battle and get shiny things? Gyms, right?">

Cobalt nodded. <"Yeah. Drake is, like, from a huge family of dragon-lovers. So we're all dragon-types. Well, except for- MMMPH!"> The Gabite's eyes widened as Destiny wrapped the end of her tail around the Dragon Pokemon's mouth, looking at him sternly. <"Cobalt!"> The snake-like dragon hissed. <"Be sensitive!"> The Dragonair gave a quick glance at Pyrus, who had turned away, arms crossed. Cobalt, for once, looked sheepish and nodded.
As Destiny unwound her tail, the Gabite coughed awkwardly. <"Um...right. So you, uh, lit curtains on fire and they kicked you out? Wow, that harsh. Although I can sympathize with those curtains. I've been lit on fire plenty of times by Py-Py over there. Right Py?"> The Charizard turned around, murder in his eyes. <"Shut. Up."> Pyrus hissed, making Cobalt freeze and nod. Rarely was the fire-type so coldly angry, and it was usually about one thing -- the fact that he was not truly a dragon.
Cobalt scratched the back of his head, clearly embarassed and regretful. <"Right."> The Gabite suddenly remembered the Charmander's question. <"Oh, um, yeah, we're working on the Johto gyms. We came over here to Cameron to train and take a little break and stuff. It's a nice place, ya know?">

"Dragon types... It's not often you see one... More rarer to see a trainer practically raising a whole team of them. It's not an easy feat." Praised a voice as Silver walked toward the fountain, sharp blue eyes taking in the dragonair, charizard, gabite, bagon, kingdra, and vibrava.
Silver had his earphones around his neck as he walked forward, hands in his short's pockets. Suchi followed behind him, glancing in slight interest at the gathered group of pokemon with her sharp, yellow eyes.
Theo merely raised an eyebrow at the whole scene, and studied the younger trainer intently. Noone just went and had an almost complete team of dragons. In some areas, you had to have a special trainer's license to have so many. This kid wasn't just any trainer... And the male alakazam merely studied him in thoughtful silence near the fountain.
Umbra merely grinned as he padded quickly forward, sly grin on his face. "<I smell competition right here. How are you all? Name's Umbra.>"

Drake looked up in surprise, straightening as he gave Nereus the last of his food to nod at the white-haired older boy. "Thank you, but my team certainly still has a long way to go before we're strong enough to live up to the legendary stories of dragons," the dragon trainer responded humbly before sticking out a hand. "My name is Drake. And you are?"
Cobalt turned his head and grinned as he saw the Umbreon walk over. <"Hey, nice to meet'cha Umbra! What's up? The name's Cobalt. And this is Destiny, Reverie, Draco, and Pyrus,"> he said, pointing to each Pokemon in turn, for once using the Charizard's real name -- no need to piss his off any more. <"And over there's Nereus and Drake,"> the Gabite finished, pointing over to the fountain. A pause. <"Oh, almost forgot! This here's Priscillia,"> Cobalt said, patting the Charmander on the head with a grin. <"We just met her, but we're already best buds, right Pris?"> the Gabite said playfully, smiling brightly.
Destiny, meanwhile, dipped her head to the Umbreon. <"Competition for you? Oh, heavens no. I can tell that you're much stronger than we are."> The Dragonair smilied lightly. <"Still, it's a pleasure to meet you Umbra.">

"<Cobalt! My main man! Not much... Not much.>' The umbreon stated with a sly grin on his face. "<And a pleasure to meet you all. The female scizor is named Suchi, and the alakazam over there is Theo.>" The umbreon informed, tilting his head at. "<Our team is actually larger than this, but they aren't here right now.>"
"<You could tell them your favorite color while your at it.>" Suchi stated in a raspy voice, looking at the male umbreon with bemusement from her yellow eyes.
Umbra looked slightly offended. "<Not every pokemon from another's trainer team are rivals Suchi.>"
The female scizor in question merely shrugged. "<I never meant to imply that. You were just on a roll, so I thought you may as well tell them your favorite color.>"
The male umbreon smiled slowly at the memory. "<Lavender.>" Umbra smiled in dreamy contentment. He then grinned, red eyes full of mirth.
Suchi took this time of distraction and bowed respectfully to the dragons. "<As it has already been said, my name is Suchi. The one who likes to run his mouth is Umbra.>" Although a lot more composed, there was humor in Suchi's voice too.
Silver took out his hand for a shake. "My name is Momoru. Nice to meet you Drake. You been training dragons long? Thats quite a feat."

Drake gave a slight smile. "About two years," the trainer replied. "I got Destiny and Nereus -- my Dragonair and and Kingdra -- when I was eight, although I didn't really start training them until when I was eleven." The red-haired boy put his hand on Nereus's head, and the Kingdra looked up with a solemn gaze. The trainer then redirected his gaze to the group beneath the trees. "Pyrus the Charizard I got from Professor Oak as an official starter, even though I lived in Johto. As for the rest...Cobalt the Gabite, Draco the Bagon, and Reverie the Vibrava...well, let's just say I spent a long time camping in the Johto Safari Zone."
Drake returned his sharp green gaze to Silver. "So what about you Momoru? Your teams looks very strong...you must have been training a long time."
Reverie, meanwhile, had started buzzing excitedly above Umbra. <"Lavender? I love lavender! It's a really really pretty color and it's calm and nice and pretty!"> Cobalt laughed, batting playfully at Reverie. Destiny, meanwhile, gave a small smile. <"Please excuse Reverie. She's the youngest of the group and rather...excitable."> The Dragonair dipped her head to the Scizor. <"It's a pleasure to meet you as well Suchi.">

Silver nodded. "For a few years... I traveled around Johto mainly, but I decided to come here to Cameron to train... My father suggested it, saying my grandfather once came here and marveled on how powerful and wild the pokemon were here... So I thought it would be a nice little vacation spot to relax and train before heading back to my homeland."
Silver smiled. "Nice to meet another Johto trainer. You and I will have to spar some day."
Suchi nodded. "<We have a sableye named Kriss who is the same way.>"
"<Although slightly more crazy...>" Umbra finished with a sheepish smile.
