It was a sunny afternoon in the lovely kingdom of Cameron. Bird-Pokemon were singing, Combee were buzzing, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky to be seen. It was the perfect day for a trainer to practice with their pokemon, or in this case, a coordinator. Megumi Hinagiku stood behind her newly evolved Kirlia, Yuri. The girl had a white and blue sundress on with a white, broad-rimmed sunhat. "Use Magical Leaf again, Yuri!" The girl shouted gleefully.
Yuri groaned and summoned glowing leaves out of thin air before launching them at... Nothing... <"Megumi, all this attacking is pointless if I don't have something to-">
"That was great, Yuri!" Megumi yelled, jumping up and down. "A few more of those and you'll have it down-pat!"
The Kirlia deadpanned his trainer and huffed. <"Only if you want me to have the accuracy of a sand-blasted Spinda you stupid girl.">

Suchi was currently out in the field that surrounded the lake, steadily wading through the long, tall grass with her long thin legs. She stood about 6 foot, towering over most humans and could at times seem intimidating, especially with her massive pincers. The female scizor's shell gleamed with a polished red as sunlight reflected off her carapace, wasp-like wings folded into her back until she needed to use them.
The scizor's yellow eyes caught Yuri and Megumi in the distance, and Suchi came over curiously, tilting her head at the strange training session, if it could be called that. She recognized those two... The gyarados that she helped fend off... Though it looked like the ralts had evolved since they last met.

A new presence pinged in the back of Yuri's mind like a radar blip and the Kirlia turned to see a familiar female Scizor. <"Suchi."> He said, slightly surprised to see the powerful pokemon again. At least this meeting was on better terms than their last at the shores of the Azure River. Yuri wasn't sure either he, Kika, or Megumi would've made it out of that situation alive if not for Silver and his pokemon, Suchi included.
A little ways off, a Combusken was sitting in a patch of grass, watching his trainer "train" his teammate, Yuri. Kika picked at a blade of grass out of boredom until the chicken pokemon happened to look up and notice a tall, red, Scizor approaching. <"Suchi."> He said at the same time as Yuri.
Suchi didn't go unnoticed by Megumi either. The girl gasped and smiled broadly. "Omigosh, could that be Silver's Scizor!? What if Silver is around here? Omigosh!" The young girl began fiddling with her hat and brushing her hair with her fingers, blushing furiously all the while.
Yuri tilted his head in curiosity and took a few steps forward. <"What are you doing here anyway? Don't you stay near Silver?"> The Kirlia said.

Suchi ~ level 70
Suchi nodded a greeting to Yuri and Kika, almost invisible smile on her face. "<You have grown.>" She commended with a slight twitch of her wings.
The scizor then glanced at Megumi's cheerful behavior with slight amusement before gazing seriously at Kika and Yuri with sharp yellow eyes. "<He is around... We are allowed to wander a little after training, so long as we come back in time.>"
Suchi blinked as she continued to hear Megumi's squealing. "<Your trainer seems... Particularly enthused at the thought of my trainer... Humans are so strange. I thought they were too young for mates at the moment.>"

<"She is."> Said Kika, walking over to Suchi, <"Not all humans are strange, our's is just an exception">
<"Megumi is an exception to a lot of laws of nature."> Yuri said, watching his trainer fuss over her makeup. <"For example, she's the world's only brainless girl."> The Kirlia then looked back up at the Scizor. <"Hey, Suchi, you and the others on your team got strong because Silver was such a good trainer, right?"> He asked.

The scizor nodded. "<We owe everything to Silver... He didn't just train us, he saved most of us. Umbra was a stray evee before my trainer chose him as his starter. That would be the umbreon you met before. Theo was a pokemon of Silver's friend, before he succumbed to a disease. Silver adopted him as a kadabra and became his new trainer. He was the alakazam that held off that gyarados' attacks. You already know Jet... Also, another teammate of ours is Kriss, a sableye, though you haven't met her yet. Silver more or less saved her from lynched by angry human villagers. Even I was saved by Silver.>"
The scizor went on. "<We are determined to return the favor by accomplishing his dream. He wants to be champion, and he will not stop until he reaches it. Yes, we are trained well... But Silver's knowledge and instinct help us reach our full potential... If you have seen him battle with us at his command, you would understand it better.>'

From the side of the lake came two Absols, their fur blending in with the snow. One was much smaller, with more silvery fur, bright, enthusiastic lilac eyes, and a bounce in her step. The other was almost twice as large, with white fur, deep, stoic indigo eyes, and an air of solemnity. One would never guess they were related; not by the way they looked, and certainly not by the way they acted, but they were, in fact, brother and sister. Twins, actually. They were still quite a way away from the group, but their bickering could be heard by all of the crowd...
<"Why can't we walk on the ice, Rag-Rag?"> the smaller whined, looking up at her sibling with pleading eyes.
<"I told you Apocalypse, the ice might be thin. And my name is Ragnarok, not Rag-Rag; how many times do I have to tell you that?">
The female named Apocalypse pouted. <"What's wrong with going for a swim?">
Ragnarok looked down condescendingly. <"Oh, I don't know. Maybe because it's the middle of winter.">
Apocalypse stuck out her tougne. <"You're no fun.">
<"And you have no common sense.">

<"And there the problem lies."> Yuri said. <"You see, Kika here was bought from a breeder and shipped to Megumi's doorstep and I was caught when I wandered too far from home and she lobbed fifty pokeballs at me. The girl has no experience at all with battling or coordinating or training of any kind."> The Kirlia looked over at his trainer, who was now using a tape-roller on her sundress to pick up any fur on her clothes, except none of her pokemon had fur. <"Megumi is... Megumi..."> Yuri growled and shook his head in frustration, <"Neither of us even want to be in contests at all and the little idiot gave both of us girl names then didn't bother to change them! And yet... And yet...">
<"And yet we both want her to succeed."> Kika finished. <"I just don't see how that's possible at this point, though. The only reason we evolved was because we were battling along side you guys.">

Suchi looked sympathetic. "<A blade that has so much potential, yet is dulled by the hand that wields it...>" The scizor then looked thoughtful. "<Perhaps you could train with us? Silver always enjoys practice, and I'm sure it would benefit all parties...>"
The female scizor trailed off and sharply turned her head, yellow eyes searching the snowy fields. "<Get to your trainer... NOW!">

Kika wasn't sure why Suchi said to get Megumi, but he obeyed. Quickly, the Combusken ran over to his trainer and grabbed her by the hand then dragged her over to the others.
Meanwhile, Yuri was canning the snowfields for any malicious presence. <"I don't sense any strong negative feelings, Suchi, but I do sense two wild pokemon heading this way.">

"<Something doesn't have to have a negative aura if it thinks your food. I didn't think wild pokemon would hang out in this area, but those two are carnivores.>" Suchi answered bluntly. "<Besides, absols aren't on my list of favorite things.>" Suchi replied quietly as they approached.

As the two neared the group, Apocalypse perked up, seeing the other Pokemon. <"Hey, look Rag-Rag! Let's go say hi!"> Without waiting for her brother, the Absol shot off, bounding through the snow. Ragnarok jolted in surprise, his eyes going wide.
<"Apocalypse!"> the male Absol cried, taking a step forward. <"Wait!"> His sister, of course, didn't listen, just waved her tail a little as she continued on. Cursing under his breath, Ragnarok followed at a sprint, although he knew very well that he wouldn't be able to catch up to his much more agile sister. Come on Apocalypse, you don't know what you're getting into! Why do you always have to be so reckless?!

Suchi ~ level 74
Suchi only knew this much... When one of the absols in the distance apparantly saw them, it started running toward them as a break neck pace, long clawed paws covering considerable distance... The female scizor braced herself, wings snapping out and buzzing dangerously like mechanical saw blades, an eerie warning for the absols to back off quickly... They were about even matched, and there were two of them, but Suchi wasn't going to let Megumi get hurt by these things. "<Kika... Yuri... Take Megumi out of here... If they aren't a threat, they will heed my warning.

"Look! Pokemon!" Megumi chirped, pointing her pokedex at the incoming Absol. "Absol, the Disaster Pokemon. Every time Absol appears before people, it is followed by a disaster such as an earthquake or a tidal wave. As a result, it came to be known as the disaster Pokémon." While the pokedex entry was ominous at best, all Megumi could think about was how big and expressive the Absol's eyes were, and how luxurious their coat was. "They. Are. So. Uber cute!" She squealed. "Yuri, let's catch it!"
The Kirlia balked and cringed. <"Why me!? Send Kika, he has type advantage!">
"Yuri, Magical Leaf!" The girl shouted. Yuri had no choice but to obey and shot glowing leaves at the incoming Absol. <"You're lucky this attack's self-guiding, Megumi or it would've hit the ground."> He grumbled. <"I'm really sorry about this!"> He then shouted at the Absol, <"My trainer's a real ditz!">

At the sight of the glowing leaves, Apocalypse skid to a stop with a yelp, snow flying up as the rapidly moving Absol came to a sudden halt. With a twist of her head, the Absol sent a Razor Wind flying at the Magical Leaves, breaking most of them. However, some of them managed to get through the attack and they hit the Absol, causing her to yelp in pain.
At the sound of his sister in trouble, Ragnarok gasped and picked up the pace, reaching the now stationary Apocalypse within seconds. Eyes glowing slightly green -- Detect, just in case -- the male Absol looked at Apocalypse with concern, nudging her gently. <"Apocalypse? Are you alright?">
