Human Form[/u]
Name: Callie Masters
Gender: Female
Age: 16 years
Type: Trainer // sometimes Coordinator
Home: Lilycove City, Hoenn Region
Picture: sketch : Callie and Kash (Eevee)
Description: A tall girl, Callie stands at around five feet eight inches. She can be self-conscious about her height somtimes, but most of the time she just deals. Her limbs are long and slim, and she has a marathon runner's body, able to run long distances without tiring easily. In fact, she often does this with her Pokemon to improve their endurance in battles. She also enjoys doing this, and running is one of her passions. Her skin is also tanned well from many days of running in the sun.
She has long, dark brown hair that's almost black, and almost seems so until she goes out into the sun, where it shines beautifully. It's one of her vanities; if she had less lustrous hair, she would have chopped it off long ago. But Callie instead keeps it long. In battle, or right before battle, she ties it up in a ponytail to help her think and stay sharp so she can win. During draveling, she wears various hairstyles depending on her mood, including braids, ponytails, and sometimes she wears it out. Her mother (grudgingly) let her dye her hair with streaks of blond and red ages ago, and she continues to regularly dye it.
Her hair frames a face that's not exceptionally pretty but boys could be attracted to it. Her eyes are just a bit bigger than normal eyes would be and are a nice color of blue-green like the harbor of her home, Lilycove City. Her face is usually set in a smirk but if you're nice enough, then it'll light up in a smile that her mother will call "beautiful, like the sun."
Callie usually wears a jacket with a tight-fitting shirt that runners would wear during training, the kind that absorbs sweat, keeping one dry. She also wears gloves that have the tips cut off, and a pair of khaki-colored capri pants, with sneakers on her feet. Around her neck is a choker that she bought with her own money and a necklace that her mother gave her on the passing journey as a sort of good luck charm.
Personality: If there's one thing to describe Callie, it's clever. Her mind is sharp, and she comes up with winning strategies that win plenty enough of battles. This is a good thing, because she absolutely hates to lose. She's basically a sore loser. It's one of her weaknesses. Some times she'll break something by throwing it at the wall after she loses a battle. But she gets over it, and continues to battle.
Although Callie grew up in Lilycove City, renowned for its huge mall, she's more of a tomboy. I mean, honestly, she couldn't care less. Concerning her clothes, she just throws on something that's casual and comfy. She detests dresses, and frills and bows and whatever. Battling, now that's more her style.
Another not so great thing about her is she can't stand people who can't think on her level. Their "stupidity" as she calls it, will get to her majorly and she'll just explode. But if you are smart enough as she deems, it's almost guaranteed you'll be best of friends... or worst of rivals.
She loves to travel, and she loves her Pokemon as her best friends. She's had her human friends, but her bond with her Pokemon is special. She has a general love for Pokemon in general and spends special time with each of her Pokemon to hone their abilities. Her dad is her role model; he was a master battler, and was a gym leader for quite some time, before he gave the title to one of his assistants and started a new career as a breeder. He's often gone from home, but talks to Callie often via Poke centers... at whatever those TV things are called. (The author of this bio does not know.)
History: Her mom's name was Ellen, and her father's name was Anthony. Callie has an older brother named Daniel whom she detests, because he's so mean to her. (However, she secretly looks up to him too.) Daniel is a trainer, too, but currently he has traveled to the Kanto region and is competing in the tournament there. (He's already competed in Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Johto.)
She was born on November 2, on a pleasant day in Fortree City in the Hoenn Region and had a childhood growing up around battling, as Anthony was a gym master. His specialty was Flying Pokemon, but they soon moved to Lilycove City so that Ellen could hone her dream of becoming a coordinator, and Anthony would be free to be a Pokemon breeder. As mentioned before, he travels often to fine more species of Pokemon and expand his knowledge as a breeder. At Lilycove City, Callie was exposed to contests, and found interest in them.
After participating in the Hoenn League and the Grand Festival in the Hoenn Region, she decided to travel to the Sinnoh region and compete in the leagues there. After finishing that, she decided to just do some traveling and participate in the Grand Festival.
When she came to Sinnoh, she heard of the epidemic and wanted to do something about it, out of her deep love for Pokemon. She has just arrived in Cameron, and now is trying to find out more about the epidemic.
Pokemon:
Other: Kash (Eevee) is one of Callie's closest Pokemon; it was almost like a pet. When she left it behind to start on her journey through Hoenn, it ran after her, and her parents allowed her to keep it with her. She often lets it walk alongside her instead of keeping it in a Pokeball.
Zee (Callie's Sceptile) evolved from Grovyle and Treeko and was her starter Pokemon she chose at the age of 10.
Cloudy (Swellow) was one of her first caught Pokemon and is one of her best friends. Cloudy was caught at level 2.
Krystal and Vip were caught during Callie's journey in Sinnoh. She has more Pokemon in the storage system caught from her journey in Hoenn.
RP Example: It was a beautiful sunset. Reds, pinks, and oranges spilled into the sky, and the sun was a burning circle of light and heat, bringing energy to plants, Pokemon, and people alike. The rim was just touching the horizon right now, and it cast long shadows upon the kingdom of Cameron.
A teenage girl sat in a tree, with backpack just off one shoulder, one sneakered foot hanging down off the branch. Her blue green eyes were set fixedly on the sunset, determined fire blazing in its ocean-colored depths. "So, Kash, I guess this is Cameron. The place where the epidemic wiped everyone out." Her voice was soft and quiet, and the Eevee, the one whom she was talking to started. It was sitting next to her on the branch.
Suddenly the girl disappeared, and Kash jolted, jumping out of the tree after her, running. He was used to it, the girl often put him through long bouts of running. He used to hate it horribly but his legs were now used to it, and he could run fast for a long time. "Eevee!" it yelled, running to catch up to the girl. <"Callie, wait up!">
The girl, Callie, turned, and her expression turned pained as she saw the little Pokemon struggling to keep up. "Sorry!" she yelled, and stopped until Kash was right by her feet. "I didn't mean to leave you behind. You're my best friend, you know that."
She gave Kash's fur a ruffle. "Come on, let's go." Straightening out of her crouching position, she faced the sunset once again. The orange ball of light was now behind the legendary Tree of Beginning, glowing brightly and creating a black outline of the tree. "For the sake of all Pokemon and people in Cameron, we'll fight."
Callie began heading down the road, Kash at her feet, both anticipating the challenges to come.
((Haha, Callie Masters. Get it? Masters. Okay, sorry, bad pun there. And yeah I know my RP example sucked. T_T Oh well.))
